Volunteers serving the needs of crhc and the community
Mission of Auxiliary
The mission of the Clarinda Regional Health Center Auxiliary is to serve as community Ambassadors supporting and assisting the efforts of the Clarinda Regional Health Center in accomplishing their mission to provide the community with quality health care services and to promote the overall improvement of the health status of the community.
Auxiliary Services Volunteers provide countless services within the hospital and community. Whether it is assisting with paperwork, escorting patients, Meals on Wheels, or staffing our Gift Shoppe, each volunteer is an integral part of CRHC and the quality services provided by this organization.
Membership in the Auxiliary is open to all individuals interested in reaching out to help CRHC promote health and wellbeing in the community. Dues are paid annually. There are three levels of membership: Active membership is $5.00 per year; Inactive membership is $10.00 per year; and Lifetime membership is $100.00.
Benefits of CRHC Auxiliary Membership
Not only do Auxiliary members enjoy the feeling of knowing they have contributed something worthwhile, they also receive a discount in the hospital's cafeteria when they wear their ID badge, they are eligible for a free flu vaccination through the hospital's Employee Health program and they may attend the annual employee health fair held every fall and receive the employee discount on lab work. If volunteering in the Gift Shoppe, members are eligible for a 10% discount towards purchases.
