What is the Clarinda Medical Foundation?
The Clarinda Medical Foundation is the preferred recipient of charitable gifts for the Clarinda Regional Health Center. The Foundation exists to build support and to secure charitable giving resources for CRHC. Funds donated to the Clarinda Medical Foundation are used to enhance health care services offered by CRHC. Additionally, gifts are used to help fund CRHC's new hospital and the equipment to be used in the new hospital. Past gifts have helped fund such things as a new ambulance or a mobile critical care respirator.
The Clarinda Medical Foundation is a not-for-profit, tax exempt corporation organized under the Federal Tax Code as a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization since August, 1999. It is an excellent vehicle for friends to support CRHC and its related programs.
Who Administers the Foundation?
The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors. The directors are representatives from the community. Board members volunteer their time and receive no compensation for their services.

How are Gifts Received?
There are many ways to support the Clarinda Medical Foundation. Examples include placing the Foundation in your will and estate planning; one-time leadership gifts to fund certain larger projects; and annual donations which cumulatively are used by CRHC to fund one-time, smaller projects.
