Service: Clarinda Regional Health Center staff believes our reputation is determined by our service. Our work is done with the intent of satisfying our customers by exceeding their expectations. In order to provide exceptional service to patients and families, we must establish professional unity with our co-workers.

WE WILL greet every patient or visitor and escort them to their destination.

WE WILL anticipate the customer's needs and questions by explaining what service will be provided to the patient before it happens, length of time it will take, and what to expect upon completion.

WE WILL always ask, "Is there anything else I can do for you?" before we leave every customer.

WE WILL apologize for, and explain, any delay in service or care. We will explain how long the delay will be, and keep the customer updated if that time frame cannot be met.

WE WILL answer every phone call promptly and with a smile in our voice. When answering the phone, we will identify our department, our name, and ask how we may help the caller. We will ask callers permission before putting them on hold. We will keep our voice mail greetings short.

WE WILL immediately acknowledge, apologize for, and personally be sure we make amends if we fail to meet a customer's expectations.

It is the policy of the Clarinda Regional Health Center to select, develop and promote employees based upon individual ability and job performance. Prior to a job offer, all candidates being considered for employment will be asked to submit to a background check. After acceptance of a position and prior to beginning employment, all prospective employees are required to complete a TB skin test, provide proof of immunizations, have a drug urine screening and a physical, provided at the health center's expense. Employment is dependent on the results of these tests.

All new employees are required to attend an 8-hour general orientation prior to their first day on the job.
