Nominations are being accepted for Clarinda Regional Health Center’s annual Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nursing. The Daisy Award is an international program that rewards and celebrates the extraordinary, compassionate, and skillful care given by nurses every day. Since 2012, CRHC has been a Daisy Award Partner, recognizing one nurse with this special honor each year. Patients, visitors, nurses, physicians, or employees may nominate a deserving RN, LPN, ARNP, or CRNA throughout the month of April.

Clarinda Regional Health Center announced Dr. Gerard Stanley, Sr. will be
retiring from clinical practice as of June 30, 2017.
Dr. Gerard Stanley, Sr., began seeing patients in the Clarinda Medical Associates Physician’s Clinic at Clarinda Regional Health Center in 2009. Dr. Stanley reflected on his time in Clarinda, “I have given Clarinda Regional Health Center eight full years of my medical practice. I believe I have done well and made CRHC and the Clarinda community proud. This is a wonderful community and I will miss it.”

CRHC Digital Mammography Passes State Quality Inspection for 8 Consecutive Years with Zero Deficiencies
Clarinda Regional Health Center's (CRHC) digital mammography service has passed the annual Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) facility inspection conducted by the Iowa Department of Public Health's Bureau of Radiological Health. This is the eighth consecutive year that CRHC has passed the inspection with zero deficiencies.
The state annually reviews all mammography facilities adherence to MQSA requirements. A letter from the Bureau of Radiological Health stated, "...the inspection of your facility showed that all areas reviewed were in compliance with required s...
