CRHC EMS Offers “Home for the Holidays” for 25th Year


Clarinda, IA, (December 8, 2017):  The Clarinda Regional Health Center (CRHC) offers “Home for the Holidays” free transportation service during the Christmas season to help bedfast residents of care facilities attend family holiday gatherings. The CRHC Emergency Medical Services (EMS) crew will transport a resident to and from a family gathering free of charge from December 10, 2017 through January 3, 2018.

Nauman Named Director of Nursing

Clarinda Regional Health Center CEO Chris Stipe announced today that Renee Nauman is being promoted to Director of Nursing effective January 1, 2018.  In his announcement, Stipe says Nauman will continue to serve in her role as Manager of the CRHC Med/Surg and Emergency Departments.

Stipe adds, “Renee offers a wealth of knowledge to our team. Her deep clinical expertise has helped us elevate our level of care, not just in her direct supervisory areas, but throughout the Hospital.”

3-D Mammography Delivers Peace of Mind—CRHC Delivers Saturday Appointments


Clarinda, IA | (November 9, 2017) – CRHC Radiology Manager Greg Jones says the first two months using the latest 3-D technology have proven to be popular with patients. During the just completed Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, CRHC conducted 130 mammogram screenings.  Jones says since bringing 3-D technology to CRHC, 233 screenings have been done in the first two months.
