Clarinda Regional Health Center offers diabetes education by way of class-style programs as well as one-on-one counseling by a trained and certified dietitian and nursing staff.

"Diabetes and Me" is an outpatient program for individuals with diabetes and their support person. It involves a collaborative effort between the diabetic individual, their support person, their physician(s), and educators with expertise in diabetes.

This diabetes management program is individualized to meet the needs of diabetics with Type 1, Type 2, or gestational diabetes. Medicare and most insurance plans will cover the cost of this program. Assistance is also available.

Check out the CRHC online Calendar of Events for the next class. To learn more or to register, please contact Megan Roberts at (712) 542-8263.
