"Building on Exceptional Care"
The Clarinda Regional Health Center is turning a new page in health care services for Clarinda and the surrounding community. Construction has begun on a new 70,000 square foot hospital facility to be located on the southern edge of Clarinda.
The existing "Clarinda Municipal Hospital" has served the community well since 1939. However, new medical technology, movement to more outpatient services versus inpatient services, and a need for more staff, plus expensive overhauls needed to continue in the existing facility, have all factored into a decision by the hospital's Board of Trustees to build a new hospital.
