$1 Million+ Fundraising Goal
On September 9, 2010, the Clarinda Medical Foundation kicked off it's
$1 Million+ "Building On Exceptional Care" Campaign. Click Here to watch the campaign announcement.
Why a Campaign to Help with the New Building Project?
The Clarinda Regional Health Center has long stood on its own to operate and function, receiving no direct tax revenue. Due to strong management, financial discipline, and our Critical Access Hospital reimbursement structure we are able to finance a majority of the new hospital project through revenue bond financing. Paying for the new hospital is within our means.
Our goal is to provide the highest quality care available by outfitting the new hospital with state-of-the-art equipment and amenities to match our state-of-the-art building. Although CRHC currently maintains medical equipment to sustain our current services, much of our existing equipment is due to be replaced, needs upgraded, or will not appropriately fit in the new hospital.
In addition, a few alternates like our family rest area in the inpatient wing, patient room furniture, and the outdoor dining patio are examples of the extras that community support could help us fund.
A campaign is needed to solicit funds from the public to help us acquire these items and make this goal a reality.
How Will the Hospital Use My Donation?
Donations to the “Building on Exceptional Care” Campaign will be used to help fund the overall building project. A large expense to this project is purchasing new medical equipment and patient amenities and equipping various rooms. Most gifts will be considered “unrestricted” and will go to the area of greatest need in these areas.
What Gift Recognition Opportunities Exist?
Each and every gift to this campaign is an important gift. We will properly recognize and acknowledge all gifts to the “Building on Exceptional Care” Campaign. All donors will be recognized on a special donor recognition wall prominently displayed in the new hospital. Specified rooms and locations within the new hospital may be named for an individual, family, or organization as a result of a major gift.
Below is a list of "Gift Recognition" levels and a list of naming opportunities for leadership gifts.
