Emergency Medicine

Adam began seeing patients at Clarinda Regional Health Center (CRCH) in May of 2021 as a provider in the Emergency Department and you might also see him occasionally in our Walk-in Clinic too. Adam comes to CRHC with an extensive background in both the health and science fields. He has worked in various medical centers in many different roles, beginning his healthcare career in nursing and eventually receiving his PhD in Nursing in 2018.  Adam shares that he had built a strong science background but was looking for a way to apply that in a hands-on way and in a way that could help people. Nursing spoke to many of these callings for him. He enjoys the uncertainty and unpredictability of the ER.  It’s always a challenge to face whatever a patient needs.  He feels that as a provider in the ER “we are answering an important call to see any patient, any time, for any need. It’s important for us to be there when we are needed.” Outside of work Adam enjoys spending time with his kids and wife working around the house on their acreage, camping, hiking and biking.
