PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Emergency Department Technician (EDT) is responsible for providing basic technical patient care skills under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN). Supports the Emergency Department professional clinical staff by providing direct patient care, performing phlebotomy functions, EKGs and assistive skills on all age groups: neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric as assigned by the provider or RN. CRHC is looking for a PRN (as needed) Paramedic to join our EMS team. This position works 24-hour shifts on an as-needed basis.
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Paramedic's primary focus is to Advance Exceptional Care by providing advanced emergency medical care for critical and emergent patients who access the emergency medical system. This individual possesses the complex knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care and transportation. Paramedics function as part of a comprehensive EMS response, under medical oversight. CRHC is looking for a full time (40 hours/week) Manager Surgical Services to join our healthcare team. This is an exempt position; days are typically Monday through Friday and as needed for on-call.
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsible for ADVANCING EXCEPTIONAL CARE by managing the surgery department. Manager will provide 24/7 leadership responsibility to support the Surgery Department needs and will have previous Nursing Leadership experience in Perioperative Services. Will coordinate operating rooms and surgeons’ schedules to perform a variety of surgery specialties.

Performs a variety of procedures requiring some independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis in accordance with the philosophy, goals and objectives of Clarinda Regional Health Center.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience
- Graduate of an AMA approved radiologic technology program
- Must be familiar with the principals and practices of Radiation Technology as outline by the State of Iowa Health and Human Services
Certificates, Licensure, Registrations
- Currently licensed in the State of Iowa
- Currently registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) (or willing to obtain within CRHC policy)
- Mandatory Reporter of Iowa Certificates (Dependent Adult and Child Abuse) (or willing to obtain within CRHC policy)
- Advanced Modality experience and certification preferred

Specialty Clinic Certified Medical Assistant - Full time
CRHC is looking for a full time (40 hours/week) Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This position is needed Monday through Friday, 7:30AM to 4:00PM.
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Certified medical assistants advance exceptional care by assessing patients, implementing nursing care under the supervision of the clinic nurse manager. A clinic CMA may also be trained to perform limited radiographic procedures.

Speech Therapist - Full or Part Time
CRHC is looking for a Full or Part Time (up to 40 hours/week) to join our healthcare team. This position's hours and days are typically Monday through Friday, 8AM-4:30PM; hours may vary depending on needs.
PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Surgical Scrub Technician - Full Time
CRHC is looking for a full time (40 hours/week) Surgical Scrub Technician to join our healthcare team. This position's hours and days are Monday through Friday, 7AM to 3:30PM.
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsible for ADVANCING EXCEPTIONAL CARE by assisting the surgical team in the care of the patient in the operating room and/or endoscopy suite. Assists in preparing the room, surgical packs, and the patient for surgery. Functions as a scrub tech during surgical procedures and is under the supervision of an RN who is immediately available to physically intervene and provide care. Assists OR Charge Nurse in assuring central sterile practices meet the AMMI and AORN standards. Cleans and sterilizes instruments, supplies and equipment according to prescribed procedures and techniques. Restocks supplies and helps clean the surgical department as needed. Assists in Surgical Clinic upon request, if available.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience
- Graduate of an OR Tech program or training as an OR Tech in a hospital or ambulatory surgery center
- Previous experience in a surgical department in the scrub tech role and assisting in the endoscopy suite in a hospital or ambulatory surgery center setting. Minimum of 2 years’ experience preferred
- Previous experience in central sterile practices (cleans, wraps, sterilize instruments) preferred
