Welcome to Clarinda, Iowa and Clarinda Regional Health Center. If you’re here visiting our facility, just in town for a short stay, or maybe visiting a loved one receiving care at CRHC, we hope some of these resources will be helpful for you during your visit. If you cannot find an answer to a question you have about CRHC or Clarinda in general, please just email us


Cafeteria

The hospital cafeteria is open to the public, staff and patients 7 days a week. CRHC’s cafeteria is located in the main hallway on the northwest corner of the building (behind Clarinda Medical Associates and the Specialty Clinic). Daily menus are posted just outside the main entrance to the cafeteria and again in the serving area. A self-service complimentary drink bar is available serving juice, coffee, and tea. Vending machines are available serving healthy snacks as well as carbonated and non-carbonated beverages by the ER entrance.

â–º     Lunch served 11:00 am to 1:30 pm

â–º     Dinner served 5:00 pm to 6:45 pm

â–º     Variety of self-serve food & beverage options available from 7:00 - 7:00 pm

Visiting Hours

Visiting hours are 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, unless you are an immediate family member. We do ask that visitors respect the healing environment of the hospital by monitoring voice levels and restricting the activity of young ones.

Partners Gift Shop

Need to get a small gift for a loved one? Or maybe you just love the selection of home decor and trinkets available at CRHC’s Giftshop?! Please stop by our gift shop located to the left of the main lobby. Our Giftshop is operated by our foundation, Partners in Exceptional Care.

Flower and Gift Delivery

If you need to order flowers for someone at CRHC our local flower shop, Clarinda Flower Shop, makes beautiful arrangements and also can provider delivery to CRHC. Shop online or give them a call to place an order. Upon arrival, flowers will be delivered to the patient by a CRHC staff member.

Pharmacy Information

At Clarinda Regional Health Center, we have an in-house pharmacy for your prescription and informational needs. To contact them, please call (712) 542-8202 . We are also able to send your prescription to your pharmacy of choice. Other pharmacies in the community include:

Send a Free Greeting Card

Send your loved ones a free, hand-delivered greeting card during their stay at CRHC. Just type your message, the patient’s name and room number and one our nurses will personally print and deliver it to their bedside!

CRHC offers free wireless internet access to patients and visitors.

Smoke-Free/Tobacco-Free Campus

No tobacco or smokeless tobacco products are allowed inside the building or directly near the building.

Patient, Visitor and Staff Safety

For patient, staff and visitor safety, CRHC maintains security cameras at all entrances and parking lots. If you have a safety concern, please notify any CRHC employee.

  • An interpreter will be connected. Tell them what you want to accomplish and they will assist you with the process.



The Safe Haven Act is a law that allows parents - or another person who has the parent's authorization - to leave an infant up to 90 days old at a hospital or healthcare facility without fear of prosecution for abandonment. A parent may also contact 911 and relinquish physical custody of an infant up to 90 days old to a first responder of the 911 call.  https://hhs.iowa.gov/safe-haven
