Clarinda Regional Health Center (CRHC) announced today that it has been honored with a 2026 PRC Dimension Champion Award in the dimension category of Discharge Information Champion Award Winner. Presented during the PRC Healthcare Experience Summit on October 8, the award recognizes Clarinda Regional Health Center's commitment as a top-performing organization that reflects PRC's dedication to healthcare excellence.

The PRC Dimension Champion Awards honor the organizations that made the most progress in a specific dimension of the HCAHPS patient experience survey. Each award reflects focused effort, strong leadership, and a sustained commitment to improving the experience of patients and their families.

CRHC achieved the greatest improvement in "Discharge Information" of any PRC client this year, and we’re proud to name them a 2026 Dimension Champion,” said Cynde King, Ph.D., PRC’s President and CEO. “Improvement on this scale reflects real commitment from their teams to the patients they serve. We’re honored to support their ongoing work.”

“We are grateful to receive this recognition,” said Chuck Nordyke, CRHC CEO. “This award reflects the dedication of our teams, who work every day to improve the care experience for our patients and community. We look forward to building on this progress.”

Clarinda Regional Health Center (CRHC) is excited to announce the arrival of a new ambulance, Medic 3, marking another investment in emergency medical services and the continued commitment to providing high-quality care to the communities it serves. The new ambulance will replace an older unit in CRHC's existing fleet, providing EMS personnel with updated equipment and a reliable vehicle to respond to emergency calls throughout the region. This addition will help ensure that CRHC's EMS team has the resources necessary to deliver safe, efficient, and timely emergency care. The purchase of the ambulance was made possible in part through grant funding secured by CRHC, helping support the organization's continued investment in emergency medical services. "This new ambulance is an important addition to our EMS department and the communities we serve," said Chuck Nordyke, CEO of Clarinda Regional Health Center. "When someone calls for emergency assistance, they depend on our team to respond quickly and provide exceptional care. Having reliable, well-equipped ambulances allows our EMS professionals to do what they do best—care for patients when they need it most." The arrival of Medic 3 is part of CRHC's ongoing efforts to maintain and improve its emergency medical services. Looking ahead, CRHC anticipates the arrival of an additional transport ambulance in approximately 90 days. This second addition will further strengthen CRHC's ability to provide dependable medical transportation and support the growing needs of patients throughout the region. The addition of Medic 3, along with the upcoming transport ambulance, reflects Clarinda Regional Health Center's continued dedication to advancing exceptional care and supporting the health and safety of the communities it serves.
