Greg Keller, D.O., is a board-certified psychiatrist who brings more than two decades of clinical experience to Clarinda Mental Health Center. Dr. Keller is originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Montana, earning a bachelor’s degree in Cellular Molecular Biology.  He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City. Dr. Keller then completed his general adult psychiatry residency through the Creighton University and University of Nebraska combined training program, where he earned multiple awards, including Resident of the Year.


Dr. Keller has been board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology since 2009. His career includes extensive inpatient, outpatient, and forensic psychiatry experience, serving as a staff psychiatrist at the Clarinda Treatment Complex, the Iowa Department of Corrections, and as the longstanding Medical Director for Southwest Iowa Families.


In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Keller has been actively involved in medical education, serving as a rotation site instructor for physician assistant students, nursing students, and third-year medical students. He has contributed to professional literature, including a published article in the Primary Care Companion to the Journal of the American Psychiatric Association.
