Lanie Garrett, OTD, OTR/L

Lanie Garrett is a Doctor of Occupational Therapy graduate from Creighton University. She brings a diverse clinical background across acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, pediatrics, mental health, and rural health settings, with a strong foundation in patient-centered care focused on improving functional independence and quality of life across the lifespan.
Her clinical experience includes advanced fieldwork at The University of Kansas Health System in acute inpatient rehabilitation, where she worked with patients recovering from burn injuries, neurological conditions, and degenerative diseases as part of an interdisciplinary care team. She has also gained experience in outpatient and upper extremity rehabilitation at CHI Mercy YMCA, pediatrics at Children’s Hospital & Medical Center in Omaha, and neurological and trauma care across multiple hospital systems throughout the Midwest.
Lanie has a particular interest in acute care and rehabilitation settings, where she enjoys supporting patients through some of their most challenging health experiences while helping them work toward meaningful functional goals.
