Dr. Jones grew up on a farm in Nebraska and trained at Creighton University and the University of Nebraska Medical Center.  After finishing his surgical training on the East Coast, he served on active duty in the US Air Force as a General/Trauma Surgeon. He also had the privilege of serving during the height of the war on terror in Afghanistan while taking care of our heroes. 

Before coming to Iowa, he most recently was in private practice in North Carolina.  He is an experienced General Surgeon with a broad range of expertise and loves taking care of patients while focusing on getting them back to health in the safest and most effective way possible.  His particular interests are abdominal surgery, symptomatic varicose vein care, and hernia repairs. However, being a General Surgeon, he enjoys all types of surgery.

He is excited to return to his midwestern roots and looks forward to being part of the team in Clarinda.
