Haley Phillips graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with her undergraduate degree in Psychology/Sociology. She received her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Capella University in 2009. She received her LMHC in 2014. Haley comes to Clarinda Mental Health Center with a great deal of experience in other clinical settings and has worked with patients from all backgrounds while emphasizing a trauma-informed approach and meeting the patients where they ar at in their journey. She has worked with a wide variety of patients ranging from children to adults, couples counseling/family counseling, as well as acute disorders to those with more chronic illnesses. She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Haley has a passion for the field of mental health and finding ways to help support people as they navigate through challenging times. Outside of work, she loves to spend time with friends, family, and her two boys.
