CRHC Adds New Dermatology Providers to Specialty Clinic
Clarinda Regional Health Center (CRHC) is pleased to welcome two new Dermatology providers to their specialty clinic. Melody Stone, M.D., and Charles Glass, PA-C, have joined the team at CRHC to help provide exceptional care to our communities. Dr. Stone will be available to see patients on the third friday of each month and Glass will see patients the second Tuesday of every month.
Both providers come from Advanced Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center, which has a location in Maryville and St. Joseph, Missouri. Dr. Stone obtained her medical degree from the University of Missouri Internal Medicine and completed her internship at Brown University. She completed her dermatological residency at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Stone completed her Preceptorship in Mohs Surgery in Kansas City. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Mohs Surgery and the Kansas and Missouri Dermatological Societies. She has also performed dermatology research at Yale University, publishing many journal articles and chapters for dermatology textbooks. Her greatest satisfaction is derived from knowing that alone with her staff, she has helped her patients by providing the highest standard of care with a warm smile and a compassionate touch. Dr. Stone is experienced with general dermatology, Mohs Surgery, Superficial Radiation Therapy, and Cosmetic Dermatology.
Charles Glass has been with Advanced Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center since April 2015. He graduated from Wichita State University with his Masters of Physician Assistant in 2014 and has been board certified in Missouri since 2015. Charles has extensive experience as a Physician Assistant in many areas including Family Practice, Rural Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Dermatology with an emphasis on preventative care and patient education. In addition to treating patients with acute and chronic dermatological conditions, Charles is trained in general dermatology, surgical wound closures, the administration of Superficial Radiation Therapy, and clinical trials. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
