CRHC Pediatrician to hold Evening Well-Child Check Clinics

Clarinda Regional Health Center • March 8, 2023

Clinic dates at CRHC & community clinics in Bedford and Villisca

CRHC's New pediatrician will be holding evening clinics especially for Well-Child Checks this Spring. These clinics are scheduled at convenient times for working households to bring their child(ren) into for these important visits. Dr. Rosemary Koeppel will be available at not only Clarinda Regional Health Center, but also CRHC's community clinics in Bedford and Villisca.

Children's immunizations and well-child visits are essential and extremely important!Well-Child Checks allow your provider to examine your child holistically, assess their physical and emotional needs, support their growth and development, and intervene quickly if any issues arise. It also is a great opportunity to discuss any concerns you may have about your child with your provider. CDC states, "Making sure that your child sees their doctor for well-child visits and recommended vaccines is one of the best things you can do to protect your child and community from serious diseases that are easily spread." Immunizations are also given at Well-Child Checks, if necessary for the age of your child at the time of the visit. Records of these immunizations are needed for school, day care, and participation in sports.

You can now call to schedule a time to bring your child in for one of these clinic dates:

March 15th @ Clarinda Regional Health Center

March 22nd @ Clarinda Regional Health Center

April 5th @ Villisca Family Health Center
