CRHC Selected Favorite Hospital for second year in SWI Readers’ Choice Survey

Clarinda Regional Health Center (CRHC) has been named the Favorite Hospital for 2019 in this year’s recent reader’s poll survey by the Weekly Times newspaper. This is the second year the survey has been published and second time CRHC has been awarded this patient-centered award. The poll included readers in six counties– Page, Taylor, Fremont, Montgomery, Adams and Mills.
Weekly Times readers also voted CRHC providers Dr. William Shelton second place and Dr. Autumn Morales third place for “Favorite Physician.” CRHC CEO, Chuck Nordyke, says, “There are many great providers in our communities. We are grateful to have such a wonderful group of providers here at CRHC and love that the communities think so highly of Dr. Shelton and Dr. Morales and don’t forget we also have Amy Wilmes, ARNP, who was last year’s “Favorite Physician” here at CRHC.”
In other categories, CRHC was chosen as the “Favorite place to work” as an employer and the Auxiliary-operated gift shop was selected as the favorite gift shop. “The best little place to shop in Clarinda,” according to Nordyke.
Nordyke adds “There has been a lot of change over the past twelve months and the feedback I am getting is that people have noticed, and they are happy with what they are seeing. We’re very proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish this year and look forward to the future.”
This is the second annual Weekly Times Reader’s Choice Awards. Publisher John Van Nostrand said, “Our Reader’s Choice survey is designed to recognize and honor all the service and retail outlets we have throughout southwest Iowa.
